Oliver Elliott received his BA in physics with honors from Amherst College and worked for a year there after graduation on an experiment to measure the electric dipole moment of an electron. In 2011 he received his master’s in electrical engineering from Columbia University. He is interested in next-generation sequencing technologies, systems biology, and computer science. In collaboration with Vladimir Trifonov, he works on the software pipeline to search for tumor causing mutations in high-throughput sequencing data.
